Today is The Last Month of The Language Movement

Today 28 February. The last day of the language movement. Last 21 February was international Mother Language Day. The Language movement since 1947. Give a speech at a seminar at the University 1947, the President of Pakistan, Mohammad Ali Jinnah, said "the only state language of Pakistan, Urdu and only Urdu". Along with the protest was not present in the students and the public. Native rights movement began. Gradually, all of East Pakistan (now Bangladesh), the movement suddenly spread. Pakistan government has tried many ways to stop the movement. But the more intense is the intensified. It took about 6 months to protect the Bengal Native Movement. Finally, the Government of Pakistan for 1952 on 21 February Movement Daunt said Section 144. 21 February, Student and the public, and broke the 144. They had the slogan, "The State Would Bengali Language" . And the procession passed in front of Dhaka Medical College. The Police Fired on them. And then Salam, Barkat, Rafiq, Jabbar and many unnamed people were killed. But the movement continues. Finally the Bengali language as the State Language of Pakistan, the Government was forced to recognize. Since then every year we celebrate mother language Day on February 21. We celebrate the international Mother Language Day Since the Last 2000.
